Kollett, Edward L., III, 75, of Firglade Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on July 20, 2107 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Carol L. (Martin) Kollett.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Edward L. and Mary (Rudolph) Kollett, he lived in Riverside for 58 years.

Mr. Kollett was the owner-operator of Rhode Island Alarm Company for 40 years before retiring in 2007. He enjoyed boating and fishing.

Mr. Kollett was a United States Air Force Veteran.

Besides his wife of 55 years, he is survived by a daughter, Shandra A. Printer of Riverside; three sisters, Maryann Smith of Riverside, Kathleen Krause of Portland, Oregon and Colleen Del Santo of Riverside; three brothers, Robert Kollett of Barrington, Peter Kollett of Chichester, NH. and Dennis Kollett of Riverside and six grandchildren. He was the father of the late Mark Brian Kollett.

His funeral will be held on Saturday July 22, 2017 from the W.RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9:30 a.m. with a committal service in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, Wampanoag Trail, Riverside, on at 11 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow.

Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Edward’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 245 Waterman St. Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 would be deeply appreciated.
