Mott, Joan C., (Smith), 84, of Grant Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on March 12, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Chester B. Mott.
Born in Warren, a daughter of the late Leo and Cecilia (Feeney) Smith, she lived in Riverside for 62 years.
Mrs. Mott was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family.
Besides her husband of 65 years, she is survived by her children, Margaret Mott of Riverside, Deborah Mott of Fort Myers, FL, Patricia Mott of Riverside, Angela Lavery of Riverside, Michael Mott of Rehoboth, MA, Mary Ellen Wall and her husband Thomas of East Providence and Tammy Mott of Fort Myers, FL; three grandchildren, Christopher and Nicole Lavery and Thomas Wall; a great grandson, Christopher Lavery and a brother, Leo Smith of New Jersey. She was the mother of the late Kathleen DeMedeiros and Chester B. Mott Jr.
Her funeral will be held on Friday March 16, 2018 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Calling hours are Friday morning 8-9 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Joan’s memory to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, 10400 Little Patuxent Parkway, Suite 480, Columbia, MD, 21044 would be deeply appreciated.
