Crane, Judith A., 73, of Gibson Road, died on April 17, 2018. She was the wife of Ronald F. Crane.

Born in Bronx, NY, a daughter of the late George and Phyllis (Gregorio) Nolte, she lived in Bristol for 21 years, previously residing in Attleboro, MA.

Mrs. Crane was a controller for the former M.D.C.I., Plainville, MA for 16 years before retiring in 1999.

Judith was a communicant of St. Luke Church and was a member of the parish’s knitting group. She also was a member of the East Bay Knitting group.

Besides her husband of 18 years, she is survived by two daughters, Lisa C. Flagg and her husband Marc of Dedham, MA and Kara A. Casale and her husband Thomas of Riverside; a brother, George Nolte and his wife Cheryll of Bay Shore, NY and three grandchildren, Andrew, Eva and Alexandra.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside on Sunday April 22, 2018 from 3-7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday April 23, 2018 in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10 a.m.

Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Judith’s memory to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI, 02904 would be deeply appreciated.

  8. I always enjoyed speaking with Judy when she would come to St. Luke’s School to pick up Eva. Even in the face of adversity she had a certain calmness and determination about her which made it difficult for me to appreciate the depth of her health problems.
