Culhane, Anne, T., 73, of Ferry Lane, died peacefully on May 13, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Thomas Q. Culhane.

Born in Silver Creek, NY, a daughter of the late Leo and Edith (Taylor) Tucker, she lived in Barrington for 39 years.

Mrs. Culhane was an administrative assistant for the K.L.R. Accounting Firm, Providence for 12 years before retiring in 2005. She previously was a teacher for the East Greenwich School Department.

Anne was a graduate of State University College at Fredonia, NY, where she received her BA in Education, Class of 1957.

Mrs. Culhane was a communicant of St. Luke Church. She was a Mayflower Descendant, lobbyist and land use expert. She was a board member of the R.I. League of Women Voters and the Michigan League of Women Voters.

Besides her husband, in the 50th year of their marriage, she is survived by two sons; Brian T. Culhane and his wife Carolyn of Vienna, VA and Timothy L. Culhane and his wife Stephanie of Cranston, a brother; Ford Tucker of Brecksville, OH, a sister; Virginia Becker of Sheridan, NY and six grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Tracy Tucker.

Her funeral will be held on Monday May 17, 2010 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10 am. Burial will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road, Barrington.
