Mollerberg, Mary, A., (Varr), 103, of Robinson Street, died peacefully on October 15, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Sven Gustave Mollerberg.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Dubiel) Varr, she lived in East Providence 80 years.

Mrs. Mollerberg was the Chief Securities Clerk for the State of Rhode Island General Treasurers Office for 25 years before retiring in 1975.

Mary was a communicant and member of the Rosary and Altar Society of St. Martha’s Church. She was past President of the East Providence P.T.A. She was a member of the P.T.A. Council, East Providence Senior Bowling League, East Providence Recreation Bowling League and the East Providence AARP Chapter #1310.

She is survived by a daughter, Joyce M. Wotherspoon and her husband Robert of New Gloucester, ME; a son, Ronald A. Mollerberg and his wife Esther of Riverside; 7 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Blanche Slater, William and Stanley Varr.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday October 20, 2015 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Martha’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
