Kearns, Linda M., (Carlson), 72, of Post Road, died peacefully on May 27, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Raymond E. Kearns.

Born in Cranston, a daughter of the late Carl E. and Claire M. (Phillips) Carlson, she lived in Warwick for 25 years previously residing in East Providence for 47 years.

Mrs. Kearns was a bookkeeper and office manager at the Merlin Transportation Co., East Providence for the past 25 years. She previously was a bookkeeper and office manager at Remson Office Equipment for many years.

Linda was a State of Rhode Island Cribbage Partners Champion. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her loving grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Thomas P. Galligan Jr. and his wife Lynn of Warwick; two daughters, Judith L. Arruda and her husband John of Warwick and Jill L. Caruso and her husband Richard of Warwick; a sister, Judith Savard of Riverside; a brother, Kenneth Carlson of Las Vegas, NV and thirteen grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday June 2, 2016 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 11 a.m.
