Morency, Paul L., 67, of Wheeler Street, died unexpectedly on October 30, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Dolores (Nowak) Morency.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Philip Morency and Jeanette (LaForge) Lachance, he lived in Pawtucket for 10 years previously residing in Providence.

Mr. Morency was a machinist for the J&M Diamond Tool Co., Rumford for 20 years before retiring in 2015.

Paul was a member of the Rhode Island Little League Umpires Association where he umpired in the Little League World Series in Bristol, CT. He was a former Little League and flag football coach.

Mr. Morency was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam era.

Besides his wife of 43 years, he is survived by a son, Keith P. Morency of Jacksonville, FL; a daughter, Jessica L. Morency of Pawtucket and a brother, Philip Morency of Rosamond, CA. He was the brother of the late Laurent and Roger Morency.

His funeral will be held on Friday November 4, 2016 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John Paul II Parish at St. Leo Church, 699 Central Avenue, Pawtucket at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
