Saunders, Ruth Ann, (Johnson), 89, of Bay Spring Avenue, died peacefully on January 27, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Albert E. Saunders Jr.

Born in Boston, MA, a daughter of the late Edward and Angela (McGuiggan) Johnson, she lived in Barrington for 62 years.

Mrs. Saunders was a communicant of St. Luke Church. She enjoyed skiing, sailing and spending time with her loving family and friends.

She is survived by two sons, David P. Saunders and his wife Shannon of Cranston and Robert A. Saunders and his wife Debra of Newport-Barrington; a daughter, Cathy A. Hayward and her husband Bud of Townsend, MA; a brother, Edward Johnson of Hingham, MA; a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Saunders of Warren; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Albert Edward Saunders III and sister of the late Paul Johnson.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday February 3, 2018 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 10:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 12 noon.

  4. I am so sorry for having to say goodbye to Ruth Ann. Her brother, Paul, my husband and I had so many wonderful times spent with Ruth Ann, Al and their wonderful Kids.
