Carlson, Carol K. (Viall), 83 of Maple Avenue, Riverside, died on November 27, 2018 at home. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Carlson.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Frederick F. and Helen (DeForrest) Viall, she lived in Riverside for 41 years previously residing in Barrington.

Mrs. Carlson was a waitress for various East Bay Restaurants for 50 years.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth S. Carlson and his wife Andrea Vastis of Seekonk and William J. Carlson and his life partner Steven LeBlanc of Riverside; a daughter, Susan C. Carlson of Riverside; a brother, Dennis Viall of Arizona; five grandchildren, Karyl E. Cabral, Jamie L. Pease, Melissa Iovino, Lily Carlson and Shuwei Carlson and four great grandchildren, Monica and Kadence Cabral and Jennifer and Mikayla Pease. She was the grandmother of the late Terrance Iovino and Jessica K. Carlson and sister of the late Nancy Keister.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday December 1, 2018 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road, Barrington.
