I am so sorry for your loss,my condolences to you an your family
I want to honor the life of Paul Baker—a man who may not have been in my life long, but whose impact still echoes in my heart.
I was around 10 years old when I entered his home as a foster child, carrying the weight of deep trauma, especially around men. But Paul was different. He was gentle, kind, and steady. He didn’t push or pry—he just created a safe space, and for the first time, I felt what it was like to feel protected by a father figure.
He and his family were only my foster family for a year, but that year was sacred. It reminded me that good men do exist. That healing was possible. That I wasn’t broken beyond repair.
We were later adopted by another great family, but I’ve never forgotten Paul Baker and the safety he gave a scared little girl who needed it more than anyone could have known.
Rest peacefully, Paul. Thank you for helping change the way I saw the world.
So sorry for your loss Paul will be truly missed, my condolences to you and your family. Alan and I will treasure all the memories we’ve had together.
I am so sorry for your loss. May family and friends surround you all with lots of love and condolences.
