Maria L. (Calise) Martinelli, 82, of Cheryl Drive, Johnston, died peacefully on May 30, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Vito A. Calise and Gertrude (Stedford) Calise-Dunne, she lived in Johnston for 8 years previously residing in North Providence.
Maria enjoyed cooking and spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by her children, Jacklyn A. Angelone and her husband John of Sterling, CT, Francesco “Porky” Martinelli of North Providence, Vito J. Martinelli and his wife Robin of North Providence, Dominico J. Martinelli and his wife Audrea of Topsail, NC and Santino A. Martinelli and his wife Dana of Lincoln; a sister, Suzanne Lindall of West Warwick and seven grandchildren, Jenna, Giana, Vito, Maria, Marisa, Eva and Antonio. She was the sister of the late Aniello Calise, Leroy Calise and Madeline Calise.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth Street, North Providence on Saturday June 7, 2025 at 9:30 a.m.
