Michael W. Sweeney, 78, of Shore Road, Riverside, passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 3, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Lillian W. (Palmer) Sweeney.

A proud United States Army Veteran, Mr. Sweeney honorably served his country during the Vietnam Era. Following his military service, he worked for many years as a dedicated truck driver for Munroe Dairy.

Michael will be remembered for his quiet strength, hard work, and commitment to those he loved.

A Funeral Service will be held at the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside, followed by burial at Notre Dame Cemetery in Pawtucket. Date and time to be announced.
