Anne E. Conaty

Anne E. Conaty 78, of Sprague Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on September 30, 2025 at Hope Health Hospice & Palliative Care Center, Providence, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph L.T. Conaty and Eugenia (Roy) Conaty, she was a lifelong resident of Riverside.
Anne was a computer programmer-analyst for the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training for 30 years, where her dedication and skill left a lasting legacy.
Ms. Conaty was a lifelong communicant of St. Brendan Church, Riverside. Where she found strength, service, and spiritual connection throughout her life.
Anne enjoyed golfing with her friends, gardening, antique shopping, traveling to Cape Cod and spending time on the beach — all of which brought her joy and peaceful moments in nature and with loved ones.
She is survived by a brother, John M. Conaty and his wife Cindy of Barrington, and was the adored aunt to six nephews and one niece, all of whom cherished her warmth and kindness. She was the sister of the late Frederick P. Conaty and Joseph T. Conaty Sr.
Anne will be remembered for her gentle heart, her unwavering loyalty to her family and friends, and the grace with which she lived her life.
Calling Hours will be held on Friday morning October 10, 2025, from 8:30 to 10 am in the W RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 11 am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Anne will be held on a later date
Anne was a good friend, a pure delight and fun on the golf course. We’ll never forget your hole in one on Pine Valley’s 9th hole! May you rest in peace, Anne. And thank you, Conaty family, for always being there for Anne.
Ann was a lifelong friend, We shared a joy playig golf and attending fall concerts on the waterfront for many years. i shall miss you Ann. Rest peacefully my friend.
To the Conaty family: I remember Anne as a sweet gentle soul who always had a smile on her face. May her legacy be eternal. God bless all who cared for her.
