Marjorie M. (Morgera) Fleck, 79, of Viola Avenue, Riverside, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, at Kent Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the cherished wife of Donald R. Fleck.

Born in Providence, Marjorie was the daughter of the late Ciro Q. and Marjorie M. (Mercier) Morgera, she lived in Riverside for 75 years, building a life deeply rooted in faith, service, and family.

Marjorie dedicated much of her professional life to helping others. She worked as a paralegal for 14 years, and later as a compassionate nursing assistant at Rhode Island Hospital for 15 years. She was a proud court-appointed special advocate for abused children through the Providence court system and passionately supported families navigating self-adoption without legal representation.

She was also a dedicated member of the Daughter’s of Isabella, faithfully serving her parish community in countless ways. Her commitment to caregiving was honored in 2002 when she received the Rhode Island Best Home Care Nursing award, presented by Governor Almond.

Marjorie also gave her time to the Riverside American Legion Post #10 Women’s Auxiliary and spent 10 years as a volunteer counselor at East Providence High School, helping students attend the New England Music Camp in Maine.

Her many joys in life included playing piano, riding her bike, reading, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her generous heart, and her gentle spirit. Marjorie often asked those around her to say the rosary daily, a reflection of her deep devotion to prayer and peace.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Traci M. Pomeranz, Christopher R. Wrench , Donald K. Fleck and Karyn A. Fleck, all of Warwick; five cherished grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her sister, Dianne McLawhorn of South Carolina. She was predeceased by her sister, Geraldine Grant.
