Robert J. Larisa Jr., 60, of Joy Street, Barrington, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at the Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence.
Born in Providence, Robert was the cherished son of the late Robert J. Larisa Sr. and Rose Marie (Carbone) Larisa. A lifelong resident of Barrington, he built a life rooted in dedication, hard work, and deep love for his family and community.
Robert was the proud Owner and Operator of Larisa Plumbing Co. from 2004–2012 and was a respected member of the Rhode Island Masters Plumbers Association. Known for his steady work ethic and his willingness to lend a hand, he was admired by colleagues and customers alike.
A man of many interests, Robert found joy in the hobbies that brought him peace and connection. He was an RC car enthusiast, an avid fisherman, and a collector of trains and hockey cards. He loved playing hockey, listening to music, and savoring a good cigar. A devoted Boston Bruins fan. Above all, he treasured the moments spent with his loving family.
Robert leaves behind three beloved children: Katelyn R. Dumond and her husband Steven of Seekonk, MA; Robert J. Larisa III and his wife Amanda of Bristol; and Craig M. Larisa and his wife Ali of Bristol. He is also survived by his sister, Anna Marie Cangiano, and her husband Louis of Riverside; eight cherished grandchildren—Hailee, Aiden, Ava, Jayden, Wyatt, Payton, Gabriella, and Tatum; his stepdaughter, Kimberly Bottomley of East Providence; several nieces and nephews; and his devoted dog, Pearl.
Robert will be remembered for his kind heart, his unwavering love for his family, and the joy he brought to the many lives he touched.
His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside, at 7 p.m. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4–7 p.m.

Our sincerest condolences on the passing of Robert .We were all so sad to hear the news, our deepest sympathy to you all.We were honored and blessed to have known Bobby ,for over 70 years my mum had the Larisas do her plumbing .Bobby would come with his Dad when he was little,and when he grew up he became her plumber as well.Truley a wonderful & special man,a gentleman and friend. He will be so sadly missed at our house.It was always like a good friend and neighbor was visiting .The void that is left can only be felt when a great man passes Bobby was such a man . Bob and his family were friends and neighbors for many years throughout my youth. He was such a kind man, always greeting me with that huge smile of his and quick wit which always made me laugh. Bobby fought the good fight for so long. May he rest in peace now. His Dad, and later he, were my faithful plumbers for decades. It all started back at St, Luke School when my kids were classmates of his. Sympathy to all the family at his young passing.

Bob was a former student from way back when I taught art in Barrington. He became someone I could depend on for all my projects… shared many laughs with him, a real upbeat guy. He will be missed greatly. My deepest condolences to his family…
Bobby was a professional plumber and a good friend of mine. I was not lucky enough to be a friend of his for a length of time like most, but everyone talked about him.
