Roderigues, Richard, 85, of Peach Orchard Drive, Riverside, died peacefully on August 7, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Mello) Roderigues.

Born in Fall River, MA, a son of the late Manuel and Amelia (Borges) Roderigues, he lived in Riverside for many years.

Mr. Roderigues was a retired Revenue Agent for the Rhode Island Division of Taxation.

Richard was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.

Besides his wife of sixty two years, he is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Gautreau and her husband Dennis of NH and Delta Maria Mederios-Rapoza and her husband Mike of Barrington; a son, Richard A. Roderigues of Riverside; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was the grandfather of the late Matthew Pennoyer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a committal service in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, Wampanoag Trail, East Providence on Saturday September 22, 2018 at 11 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow.
