LaMarre, Maurice J., 89, of Bellman Avenue, Warwick, died peacefully on December 29, 2018.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Alfred and Cora (Godin) LaMarre, he lived in Warwick for many years.
Mr. LaMarre was a teacher for the Barrington School Department for 24 years before retiring in 1979.
He is survived by his children, Joyce LaMarre of El Paso, TX, Gregory LaMarre of North Dighton, MA, Keith LaMarre of Cape Elizabeth, ME, Maribeth LaMarre of Canton, MA and Carolyn LaMarre of Seekonk, MA and ten grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Violet McComiskey.
His funeral and burial will be private.
Maurice “Mo” LaMarre was an outstanding teacher. He made a major and lasting positive impact on my life. I will never forget him. I’m sorry to read of his passing and leave my gratitude and condolences to his surviving family and friends.
