Colasanti, Alberto, 86, of Monmouth Drive, Riverside, died peacefully on April 1, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Yvonne E. (Ellis) Colasanti.
Born in Naples, Italy, a son of the late Canio and Rosa (Cantieri) Colasanti, he lived in Riverside for 29 years.
Mr. Colasanti was an electronic technician for GTECH for 18 years before retiring in 2001.
Alberto was a member of the Ocean State Baptist Church, Smithfield.
Besides his wife of sixty years, he is survived by his children, Odette R. Luoni of Burrillville, Mara R. Olink of Rumford and Monica M. Polando of Uxbridge, MA, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Anna Coppa and Antonio Colasanti.
His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday April 5, 2023 in the Ocean State Baptist Church, 600 Douglas Pike, Smithfield at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Alberto’s memory to the Harmony Women’s Care, 845 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 would be deeply appreciated.
