Pizzo, Albina M., ‘Dolly’, 92, of Brookdale, Wampanoag Trail, Riverside, died peacefully on December 26, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph E. Pizzo.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Lawrence M. and Albina T. (Cashman) Walsh, she lived in Riverside for 65 years.

Mrs. Pizzo was a secretary for the Principle of Martin Jr. High School for 15 years before retiring in 1985.

Albina was a communicant of St. Brendan Church since 1955 and she was a former member of St. Michael Church, Providence. She was a former Riverside Girl Scout Leader and a member of the Riverside P.T.A. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and traveling.

She is survived by a daughter, Joan M. Hobbs and her husband Walter of Lincoln; a son-in-law, Stephen Alienello of East Providence; five grandchildren, Jennifer Young, Stephen Alienello Jr., Kelsey Mullen, Spencer Hobbs and Cooper Hobbs and four great grandchildren, Sean Young, Colin Young, Henry Alienello and Sophie Alienello. She was the mother of the late Janice E. Alienello and sister of the late Kay Martin, Helen O’Connor, Mildred Johnson, William, Elizabeth and Lawrence C. Walsh.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday January 5, 2017 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday 5-7 p.m.
