Alison M. Pochebit

Pochebit, Alison, M., 29, daughter of Dr. Mark and Jean Pochebit, and the late Julie (Morin) Pochebit passed away peacefully at Massachusetts General Hospital with her Mom and Dad at her side. She was the beloved sister of Sarah (Pochebit) Costa and her husband Daniel and Meghan (Pochebit) Rogers and her husband Christopher. She was the proud Aunt and Godmother to Emma Grace Costa. Granddaughter of John and Mary Pochebit of Maine, Philip and Dorothy Wisnewski of Narragansett and the late Frederick and Winnifred Donnelly. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Alison was a graduate of St. Mary’s Academy Bay View, Boston College (2007) and was currently a third year law student at Southwestern School of Law in Los Angeles, CA. Along with Alison’s life and academic achievements, she was also an inspiring artist, avid runner and talented cook.

Alison fought a two and a half year battle with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and proved that miracles do exist. She exemplified strength and determination with an abundance of grace and courage on a daily basis. She had a fabulous sense of style, an effervescence and her heart radiated love to everyone that knew and cared for her. The mark Ali made on the lives of those around her will be felt forever as we strive to find the fun each and every day just as she did.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday July 2, 2014 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 11:30 a.m. Calling hours are Tuesday 2-8 p.m. Burial will be held in St. Bernard Cemetery, Concord, MA.
