Zuius, Amelia M., (Andreozzi), “Millie,” 95, of Riverside, died peacefully on December 1, 2021. She was the wife of the late A. George Zuius.

Born in Riverside, a daughter of the late Frank and Victoria (Antonelli) Andreozzi, she lived in Riverside for many years.

Mrs. Zuius was a Manager at Helene’s Bridal Shop, East Providence for 24 years before retiring in 1970.

Amelia was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. She enjoyed fashion, dining out and spending time with her loving family.

She was a loving aunt to many wonderful nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Byers, Josephine, John, Frank and Sosio Andreozzi and foster sister of Antonio Alfano.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside on Saturday December 4, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. A private burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Amelia’s memory to St. Brendan Church, 60 Turner Avenue, Riverside, RI, 02915 would be deeply appreciated.

  3. My family and I want to express our sorrow at the loss of Millie. She was such a lovely woman–so stunning and smart and charming. Millie was very kind to our late Mother, Jo Doyle, who thought the world of her. And I admired her strong political views and willingness to share them (including calling the White House). She will be missed by so many people.
