Americo Bisbano

Bisbano, Americo, 91, of Upland Way, died peacefully on Sunday April 25, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Lucy (Cardente) Bisbano.
Born in Bristol, a son of the late Domenic and Concetta (Caruso) Bisbano, he lived in Barrington for 70 years.
Mr. Bisbano was a printer for the former Kaiser Aluminum Co. for 21 years.
Americo was a communicant of Holy Angel Church. He enjoyed animals, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mr. Bisbano was a United States Navy Veteran serving aboard the LST 843 in the south Pacific during World War II.
He is survived by one daughter; Lucille R. Phillips of Riverside, two grandsons; Richard Phillips of Riverside and Robert Phillips of Barrington and 2 great grandchildren.
His funeral will be held on Thursday April 29, 2010 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 7:45 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angel Church, Maple Avenue, Barrington at 9 am. Calling hours are Wednesday 3-6 pm. Burial with Military Honors will be held in St. Mary Cemetery, Bristol.
