  10. Andre, you will be missed, my friend. You were incredibly talented, generous, patient, fearless, and encouraging. We would connect every once in a while, but I think of you often — remembering photography tips and tricks you shared, encouragement to try to learn new musical instruments, to share with others, and how easy to talk to and genuine you were with everyone you knew.

  11. Andre was my music buddy– I still use the mini Fender amp he gave me when I want to play on the front porch– also guitar cases, weird effects pedals, et al. He was a brilliant photographer, bass & guitar player. I wish I could be with you all this Friday…I’ll miss my dear nephew forever, & only regret we hadn’t talked in a while. Love, Uncle Dick

You were handsome, funny, sensitive, sweet, intelligent, creative, serious, caring, accomplished, thoughtful and, in spite of all this, you were vulnerable. I would have tried to move mountains to be there for you. Love, Aunt Anne
