Anna C. (Calitri) Florenzano

Date of Passing:

December 23, 2025

Anna C. (Calitri) Florenzano, 97, Barrington, passed away peacefully at home on December 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. Florenzano, Jr.
Anna was a lifelong resident of Barrington and parishioner of Holy Angels Church where she was an active volunteer in many parish activities. A woman of profound faith, she found great comfort in prayer and faithfully recited the rosary several times each day. Her faith guided her life and inspired all who knew her. Anna enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, and her daily scoop of coffee ice cream.

She was a loving mother to her devoted daughter Lois Coppolino (Louis) and son Frank Florenzano III (Rosemary). She also leaves her cherished grandchildren, Cristen Smith (Adam) and Marc Coppolino (Gina) of Barrington. She was “GG” to Rocco, Mia, Andrew, Landon, and Marcus whose lives were greatly enriched by her love.

Anna was the mother of the late Wendy A. Florenzano and the sister of the late Mary Brant, Clara Martone, Ida Castle, Olga D’Abate, Dora Vendituoli, Nicholas, Louis, Michele, and Freddy Calitri.

Her spirit will live on through the many nieces and nephews who survive her, each of whom benefited from her wisdom. We celebrate a life well lived.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Angels Church, Maple Avenue, Barrington. Burial will follow in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery, Upland Way, Barrington.

Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Anna’s memory to Holy Angels Church, 341 Maple Avenue, Barrington, RI 02806; St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105; or a charity of your choice would be deeply appreciated.
