Anna “Mary” (DeAngelis) Paolella

Paolella, Anna “Mary” (DeAngelis), 88, formerly of Foote Street, Barrington, died peacefully on November 16, 2020. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Paolella.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Sorzio and Helena (Andreozzi) DeAngelis, she lived in Barrington for sixty years and Riverside, at the Riverside House for the past twenty years.

Mrs. Paolella was a communicant of Holy Angels Church and a member of the Sacred Heart Society.

She enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her loving family.

Mary devoted her life to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Blanchette of Pawtucket and Donna Sousa of Barrington; a son, James Paolella of Riverside; three grandchildren, Stefanie A. Head, Bruce Sousa and Amanda DiSalvo; three great grandchildren, Thomas J. Head, Sean R. Head and Nathan DiSalvo; a brother, Thomas DeAngelis; four sisters, Josephine Dalessio, Carol Plante, Irene DeAngelis and Barbara Bunker. She was the sister of the late Sorzio DeAngelis Jr., Delfino DeAngelis and Dorothy Mallozzi.

A Committal Service will be held in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, Wampanoag Trail, East Providence on Monday November 23, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow. The guidelines set forth by the Rhode Island Department of Health will be observed. Face coverings are required.

Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Contribution’s in Anna’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
