Ferguson, Anne L., 76, of, Foote Street, Barrington, died peacefully on January 13, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, and is survived by her husband of fifty years, Richard C. Ferguson.

Born in Somerville, MA, a daughter of the late Henry and Rita (Dwyer) O’Neil, she was raised in Cambridge, MA and lived in Arlington, MA eventually moving to Barrington where she resided for 30 years.

Mrs. Ferguson was a clerk in the Banking Industry for many years.

Anne was a communicant of Holy Angel Church. She was an active fundraiser for the American Heart and Breast Cancer Associations. An avid reader, she enjoyed art history, gardening and crocheting.

She is also survived by her three daughters, Erica A. Ferguson of Barrington, Laura M. Hastings of Cranston and Diana M. Carvalho of East Providence; three beloved grandchildren, Elias S. Hastings, Rylan A. Hastings and Gwen G. Carvalho; her brother, Robert H. O’Neil of Franklin, MA and her sister, Dorothy R. Griffin of Waltham, MA.

Her Funeral will be held on Friday January 17, 2019 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angels Church, Maple Avenue, Barrington at 10 a.m. Burial will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Calling hours are Thursday 5-8 p.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Anne’s memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 205 Hellene Road, Warwick, RI 02886 would be deeply appreciated.
