Anne M. Kraunelis

Anne Mary (Boylan) Kraunelis, 81 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 21st. She was the beloved wife of Leo J. Kraunelis. Born in Pascoag, RI, the daughter of the late David (Pat) and Marion (Doyle) Boylan, she graduated from Burrillville High School and Rhode Island College. Anne with her husband, Leo were married for 52 years and they enjoyed their retirement in Melbourne Beach, Florida where they hosted many friends and family.
Anne taught at the Busy Bee Nursery School and she was the Director of the pre-school program at the East Bay YMCA. She enjoyed playing golf in the Women’s Golf League at Touisset Country Club in Swansea, Massachusetts and a communicant at St. Luke’s church in Barrington, RI and Immaculate Conception church in Melbourne Beach, Florida.
Anne is survived by her children, Margery Pickering and her husband Robert of Warwick, RI, Kathy Flaherty and her husband, Michael of Barrington, RI, Leo Kraunelis and his wife, Wendy of Salem, MA, John Kraunelis and his wife, Cheri of Barrington, RI, Jane Starkey and her husband, Robert of Boylston, MA, and Paul Kraunelis and his wife, Kristen of Yardley, PA: 23 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Saturday November 24, 2018 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 4-7 p.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington on Monday November 26, 2018 at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Newport Memorial Park, Middletown.
