Nadeau, Anne, M., 91, of 147 Bay Spring Avenue, previously residing at 46 Gray Street, Providence, died peacefully on August 8, 2010. She was the wife of the late Alfred D. Nadeau.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the Giovanni and Maria (Santiano) Sauro, she lived in Barrington for the past year previously residing in Providence for over 80 years.

Mrs. Nadeau was an expediter for the GAREL Mfg., Providence for 17 years before retiring in 1990.

Anne was a member of St. Augustine Church in Providence. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, playing scrabble and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters; Patricia A. Plante and her husband Ronald of Warwick and Joyce M. Simeone and her husband Charles of Riverside and four grandchildren; Christopher M. Plante, Staff Sergeant Mark W. Plante U.S.A.F., Alexander C. Simeone and Michael A. Simeone. She was the sister of the late Mary Lombardo, Annette Campanelli, Louis and Joseph Sauro.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday August 12, 2010 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 am. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
