Poole, Annette, L., 76, of Leroy Drive, Riverside, died peacefully on June 18, 2011 surrounded by her loving family at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Edward F. Poole Jr.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Omer and Marie Ange (Hamel) Gauvin, she lived in Riverside for 57 years.

Annette enjoyed cooking, gardening and solving crossword puzzles.

She is survived by two sons; Edward F. Poole III and Mark J. Poole, two daughters; Donna J. Andrade and Brenda L. Stuttard, all of East Providence, two brothers; Edward Gauvin of Cranston and Leo Gauvin of West Warwick, three sisters; Henrietta Sullivan of Worcester, Jeannie Leap of Warwick and Loretta Mitchell of Lancaster, PA, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A private celebration of her life will be held on Saturday June 25 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence.
