Tribelli, Anthony C., 86, of Robbins Drive, Barrington, died peacefully on November 11, 2020.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Eligio and Ida (Della Grotta) Tribelli, he lived in Barrington for 52 years.

Mr. Tribelli was the owner & operator of Hanover Creations, Pawtucket for over 50 years.

Anthony was a graduate of Bryant College. He was a member of the West Bay Chorale. He enjoyed singing, cooking and gardening.

He is survived by two daughters, Angela Tribelli of Warwick and Debra Moran of Hope Valley; two sons, Anthony Tribelli Jr. of North Kingstown and William Tribelli of Cumberland; a sister, Shirley Tribelli of Barrington and nine grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Al Tribelli.

A Committal Service will be held on Monday November 16, 2020 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, Wampanoag Trail, East Providence at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The guidelines set forth by the Rhode Island Department of Health will be observed. Face coverings are required.

  12. We will miss Tony so much. I was able to keep contact with him since he took a turn for the worse a couple of years ago, and he was always upbeat, optimistic, and interested in me and my family. And that was Tony in a nutshell. Always concerned with others, and ready with a smile and a funny comment. Sometimes his comments would leave you scratching your head. But he’d always leave you smiling. I will miss him.

  15. Tony has been a dear friend for many, many years and both my husband and I will miss his kindness. Thank you for the many hours of helping out at fundraisers cooking and the pleasure of your company at years of choir rehearsals. If I hear a scoop in heavenly music, I will know you are singing with all your heart. May light shine in the darkness to guide your footsteps to heaven. Thanks for the memories!

  16. It was a pleasure to get to know Tony while singing with him in the West Bay Choral. It was clear that he loved to sing and did so with gusto and style. I will miss the twinkle he always had in his eye.

  21. My deepest condolences to all of Tony’s family upon this sad loss. Tony was beloved by West Bay Chorale friends for his charm, lovely tenor voice, sense of humor, and sincere dedication. I enjoyed time with Tony on the WBC board and preparing fundraiser dinners together. Tony was a good friend to all and I will miss him, but am glad for the good memories.

  23. Our wonderful neighbor. Tony you will always be in our hearts and in our thoughts. Even in the worst snow storms you were kind enough to plow my driveway. A true friend, I will miss you forever. Thanks for all the Italian dishes you prepared for us. Our thoughts are with your family.
