Antone “Tony” Bettencourt Jr., 58, of B Estrell Drive, Riverside, died unexpectedly on May 24, 2025, at Rhode Island Hospital.
Born in Providence, a son of Lana (Hamell) Bettencourt of Riverside and of the late Antone Bettencourt Sr., he lived in Riverside for 20 years.
Mr. Bettencourt was a carpenter for the past 40 years.
Tony enjoyed bike riding and spending time outdoors. He also enjoyed spending time on the water with his friends. He had a great sense of humor.
Besides his mother, he is survived by a sister; Rhonda L. Bettencourt of Riverside, nieces; Angel Oliver and Chelsea Oliver, a nephew; Edward Oliver and great nieces and nephews; Lexius Oliver, Kingston Oliver, Zayn Johnson and several cousins.
Calling Hours will be held on Saturday June 14, 2025, in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME 350 Willett Avenue Riverside from 1-3 p.m.
Rhonda and mom I’m sorry about Tony how I’m gonna miss when I call rhonda daily to chat and your saying hi in the back ground or when I stop by to visit and we chat,Tony I will cherish the charm you gave me,fly high with all the angels that left to soon.
To my dearest Rhonda and mom,he is at peace flying high with the rest of the angels that left this world to soon,how I’m gonna miss your hellos when I’m talking to rhonda on phone and the visits when I came by.Rest easy my love.
