Faella, Barbara A., 86, formerly of Barrington, died peacefully on October 9, 2023 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Richard H. Faella.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Leslie and Bertha (Feld) Bestwick, she lived in Barrington for 66 years.

Mrs. Faella was a Victim Advocate for the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office for 18 years.

Barbara enjoyed going to the theater, traveling, gardening and spending time with her loving family. She was a devoted New England Patriots fan.

She is survived by a son, Mark R. Faella of Riverside; two daughters, Lynne S. Beaulieu of Tiverton and Joanne L. Vincent of Lincoln; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a brother, Allen Bestwick of Port Orange, FL.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday October 19, 2023 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 11 a.m. Calling hours are Wednesday October 18, 2023 from 4-7 p.m.

A Private Burial will be held in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Barrington. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Barbara’s memory to the Meals on Wheels of RI, 70 Bath Street, Providence RI 02908 or Hope Health Hospice Center, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI, 02904 would be deeply appreciated.
