Lemos, Barbara, A., 71, of ‘Harborview’, 3663 Pawtucket Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on June 10, 2014.

A lifelong resident of Riverside, she was the daughter of the late Herbert W. Parker and Doris (Kittell) Morton.

Mrs. Lemos was a caretaker for James L. Maher Center, East Providence for 10 years before retiring in 2006.

Barbara was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. She was an active member of the Harborview Tenants Association and enjoyed playing cards.

She is survived by four grandsons, David and Andrew Lemos, both of Bristol and Jacob and Nathaniel Lemos of Bridgewater, MA; a sister, Debi Allebach of New Castle, PA and a step-grandson, Joshua Williams of Bridgewater, MA. She was the mother of the late William M. Lemos and step-grandmother of the late Jeremy Gamache.

Her funeral will be held on Monday June 16, 2014 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday 4-6 pm.
