Fahey, Barbara, J., 76, of Maxfield Avenue, died peacefully on December 9, 2009. She was the beloved wife of Richard Fahey.

Born in Norwich, CT, a daughter of the late Leonard and Charlotte (Pike) Partridge, she lived in East Providence for 56 years.

Mrs. Fahey was a secretary for the East Providence School Department for 25 years before retiring in 1994. She was a member of the East Providence Educational Secretaries Association.

Barbara was a former coach for the East Providence Little League Girls Softball. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Besides her husband of 56 years, she is survived by a daughter; Cheryl B. Fahey of East Providence and three grandchildren. She was the mother of the late R. Dennis Fahey and Christopher L. Fahey and sister of the late Gail Linden.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday December 11, 2009 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 10 am. Entombment will follow in the Swan Point Cemetery Mausoleum, Blackstone Blvd., Providence.
