Gallipeau, Beatrice E., 91, of Lincoln Avenue, died peacefully on February 2, 2017 at Courtland Place, Smithfield. She was the former wife of the late George W. Gallipeau.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Reginald and Beatrice (Dwyer) Dennis, she lived in Barrington for 65 years.

Mrs. Gallipeau was a Registered Nurse for 40 years before retiring in 1992.

Beatrice was a graduate of Newport Hospital School of Nursing. She enjoyed gardening, politics and the stock market.

She is survived by a son, George W. Gallipeau III of Barrington; a daughter, Mary E. Kenney and her husband Mark of Smithfield; a sister, Florence Tauriello of Washington, D.C.; two granddaughters, Megan Satterley and Hannah Kenney and two great grandsons, Chase and Parker. She was the mother of the late Michael Gallipeau and sister of the late Nancy Walton.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday February 7, 2017 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 4-8 p.m. Graveside Burial will be held on Wednesday February 8, 2017 in St. Columba Cemetery, Middletown at 12 noon.
