Breting, Blanche, E., ‘Betty’, 90, of Shore Road, Riverside died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on May 21, 2015. She was the wife of the late Louis O. Breting.

Born in East Providence, a daughter of the late James and Blanche (St. Armand) Morton, she lived in Riverside for 69 years.

Mrs. Breting was a volunteer worker at the Health Haven Nursing Home for many years.

Blanche was a communicant of St. Brendan Church and a member of its Forever Young Club and the Daughters of Isabella.

She is survived by three daughters, Diane Roderick of Smithfield, Marcia Breting of East Providence and Maureen Carroll of Seekonk, MA; two sons, James Breting of Riverside and Louis Breting of Johnston and six grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Doris Breting and sister of the late Mary Shaw and Anna O’Neil.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday May 28, 2015 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
