Bradford V. Ellsworth

Ellsworth, Bradford, V., 71, of Bullocks Point Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on September 30, 2011 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Tara L. (Eadie) Ellsworth.

Born in New York City, NY, a son of the late Vernon and Thelma (Jones) Ellsworth, he lived in Riverside for 60 years.

Mr. Ellsworth was a head lineman for the Verizon Co. for 32 years before retiring in 1997. He was a United States Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.

Bradford was a member of the American Legion Post #7 in Rochester, NH. He was a former member of the Elk’s Club. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, boating and carving duck decoys.

Besides his wife of 48 years, he is survived by a son; Bradford V. Ellsworth of Barrington, a daughter; Dawn E. Ellsworth of Warren and two sisters; Barbara Richardson and Deborah Carpenter, both of Texas.

Calling hours will be held on Friday October 7, 2011 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 4-7 pm. Burial will be private. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
