Slattery, Carol M., 77, of Sunset Avenue, Providence, died peacefully on September 5, 2021 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Roscoe and Phyllis (Lambert) Balducci, she lived in Providence for the past 30 years.

Mrs. Slattery was a tax preparer for H&R Block in Johnston for 11 years before retiring in 2020.

Carol enjoyed arts and crafts, shopping, fashion, painting, art, reading and going to the beach.

She is survived by a son, Sean Slattery of Stonington, CT; a daughter, Keri Hayston of Taunton, MA; two sisters, Joan Bang of Philadelphia, PA and Gina Balducci of Seekonk, MA; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was the life partner of the late Paul LeBoeuf.

Her Funeral will be held on Monday September 13, 2021 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Avenue, Seekonk, MA at 10 a.m. A private burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Carol’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 would be deeply appreciated.

Mom I miss you everyday you were my best friend, this has been the most difficult emotional rollercoaster I’ve had to endure,I miss your smile but I look at your pictures often and it it brings back so maywonderful memories. I see you fly by with your red tails and huge wings fly high n free mommy I know you’re still smiling ?
