Rix, Carolyn, 69, of Randall Street, died unexpectedly at Miriam Hospital, Providence.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Frederick Charles Bieberbach Sr. and Constance (Darling) Bieberbach, she lived in Providence, Greenville and Bristol.

Mrs. Rix was a Registered Nurse for many years.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer Rix of Berkley, CA and Scott Rix of Virginia; four grandchildren; a brother, Fred C. Bieberbach Jr. and his wife Rilla of Riverside and a nephew, Fred Bieberbach III of Willett, CA.

Her funeral and burial will be private.
