Shea, Catherine, A., 68, of Joy Street, died peacefully at home on January 11, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Francis William Shea Jr.

Born in Dorchester, MA, a daughter of the late George J. Lynch Sr. and Katherine V. (Maloney) Lynch, she lived in Barrington for the past year previously residing in Milton, MA for 40 years.

Mrs. Shea was a Registered Nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Boston for 25 years before retiring in 1992.

Catherine was a communicant of St. Luke Church.

Mrs. Shea was a graduate of St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1968 and was a proud member of the Alumni Association. She was a former member of the Milton Housing Authority for 25 years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, bowling and spending time with her loving family.

Besides her husband of 46 years, she is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Shea-Schwacke of West Chester, PA and Deborah (Shea) Sheehan of Barrington; two sons, John Shea of Baltimore, MD and Patrick Shea of Londonderry, NH and ten grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday January 16, 2016 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:15 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road, Barrington.
