Hurley, Catherine, T., ‘Kay’, (Jedrey), 91, of Burnside Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on November 2, 2015. She was the wife of the late John J. ‘Jack’ Hurley.

Born in Lynn, MA, a daughter of the late Arthur J. and Julia (Burke) Jedrey, she lived in Riverside for 79 years.

Mrs. Hurley was a secretary at St. Brendan Church for 15 years before retiring in 1989.

Kay was a communicant of St. Brendan Church and a member of the parish Forever Young Club, Woman’s Golf and Bowling League. She enjoyed cooking, baking, bowling and golfing.

She is survived by five sons; J. Michael Hurley of Barrington, Stephen A. Hurley and Thomas M. Hurley, both of East Providence, Arthur J. Hurley of Boca Raton, FL and Kevin J. Hurley of Warwick; three daughters, Catherine M. Cahir of Sierra Vista, AZ; Margaret A. Costa of East Providence and Patricia A. McDermott of Columbus, GA and twenty grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Daniel A. Jedrey and Julie V. Lusignan.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday November 5, 2015 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 1098 Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
