Charles R. Bannon Jr., 70, of Carousel Drive, Riverside, died unexpectedly at home on March 25, 2025. He was the former husband of Suzanne M. (LaSalle) Bannon.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Charles R. Bannon Sr. and Hazel (Elderkin) Bannon, he was a lifelong resident of Riverside.

Mr. Bannon was a maintenance worker at Crossroads Rhode Island for 6 years before retiring in 2015. He was a United States Army Veteran.

Charles was a member of the N.R.A. He enjoyed music, fishing, motorcycles, vintage cars and gun shooting.

Besides his former wife, he is survived by two daughters, Jessica Trembly of Cranston and Kayla Bannon of East Providence; a son, Trevor Bannon of Hope Valley; five granddaughters and two nephews, Howard Hayes of Seattle, WA and Christopher Hayes of Providence. He was the brother of the late Katherine Hayes.

His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday April 12, 2025 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 2 p.m. Calling Hours are from 1-2 p.m.
