CARDENTE, CHARLES, 93 of Prospect Street passed away on June 17, 2011. He was the husband of the late Palma (Vitullo) Cardente. He is survived by his sons John of Barrington, Richard of FL, David of MA, and Charles of North Kingstown, a sister Lucy Bisbano, and three grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Angie Raneri, Rose Volpe, Mary DiSalvo, Vera Abate, Lillian VanCougyhen, Elsie Pasqua, Nicholas Cardente and Ralph Cardente.

Born Cesare Cardente, he was employed by Rhode Island Lace and Seekonk Lace Companies, retiring from work he enjoyed at age 70. Fortunate to have had good health throughout his life, he continued to pursue outdoor activities, such as gardening and fishing until the day of his death. Charlie was never without his favorite pipe and tobacco, and welcoming smile.

His funeral will be held on Thursday June 30, 2011 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willet Avenue, Riverside at 8am with a Mass in St. Luke’s Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10am. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday morning 8-9am. Flowers are welcome.
