Charles H. Richards III

Richards, Charles H., III, 63, of Upland Road, Riverside, died peacefully on February 15, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Charles H. and Barbara (Dorsey) Richards, he was a lifelong resident of Riverside.
Mr. Richards was a truck driver for the Riverhead Building Supply Co. for 30 years before retiring due to illness.
A sports enthusiast, Charles enjoyed playing baseball, softball, hockey, fishing and spending time with his loving family.
He is survived by two sons, Charles Richards IV of Riverside and Kevin Richards of Riverside; a daughter, Catherine Richards of Tennessee; brothers and sisters, Barbara Richards of Riverside, Elizabeth “Kitty” Richards of Providence, Debra Richards of Riverside, Mark Richards of Lincoln and Melissa Richards of Riverside and seven grandchildren. He was the father of the late Joseph Richards.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday February 17, 2021 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 4-8 p.m. The guidelines set forth by the Rhode Island Department of Health will be observed. Face coverings are required and only fifteen people will be allowed in the building at one time. Burial will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Charles’s memory to the Rhode Island Leukemia & Lymphoma Foundation, 2346 Post Road, Suite #202, Warwick, RI, 02886 would be deeply appreciated.
