  4. Dad, the day is over. The day I always dreaded, but I know you are at peace. You are with The Holy Family and your family that passed before you. You were the best father a daughter could have ever asked for. Thank you for everything you did for all of us. You were a gentleman, loving and caring father. You made me laugh when I didn’t expect you to say something funny. I enjoyed “our” time in my car sharing thoughts. Thank you for giving part of your life to serve our country in the Navy. I am so proud to say I am your daughter. I love and miss you so much. You took a piece of my heart with you. You will always be in my prayers and I will always bring you Red Roses on Father’s Day and your two birthdays as I always have. I know you are a special angel watching over all of us.
