Hughes, Christine, A., 52, of Howard Street, died peacefully on August 22, 2010 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Charles P. Hughes.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late C. Joseph and Jacqueline (Rochfort) Coletta, she lived in Barrington for 21 years.

Mrs. Hughes was a magna cum laude graduate of Bryant College where she received a degree in marketing.

Christine enjoyed art, listening to music, exercising, walking and gardening. A loving wife and mother, she enjoyed spending time with her family. A sports enthusiast, she was a devoted Boston Red Sox fan.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters; Marissa Hughes and Kelsey Hughes, both of Barrington and a brother; Dr. Craig A. Coletta M.D. of Los Angeles, CA. She was the sister of the late Joyce Coletta.

Her funeral will be held on Friday August 27, 2010 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10 am. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Cumberland.
