Luciano, Christine, 71, of Riverside, died peacefully on March 17, 2023 with her loving sister by her side.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Victor J. Luciano Sr. and Hilda (Arruda) Luciano, she lived in Riverside for 68 years.

Ms. Luciano worked at Rhode Island Hospital/LCS in cash control for 43 years.

Christine was a communicant of St. Brendan Church since 1955 and was a member of the Senior Church Choir for the past 34 years. She enjoyed flower gardening and her dogs, who were her one constant joy in her life. A special love and thanks for David and Amanda for always being there for me and my sister.

She is survived by a sister and caregiver, Katherine A. Borges of Riverside and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Victor J. Luciano Jr. and Donna M. Tellier and aunt of the late Karl A. Luciano and Jason B. Luciano.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside on Thursday March 23, 2023 at 10 a.m. A private burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Christine’s memory to the RISPCA, 186 Amaral Street, East Providence, RI, 02915 would be deeply appreciated.
