Barratt, Clifford E. Sr., 87, of Bluff Street, Riverside, died peacefully on September 18, 2021. He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth P. (Greenia) Barratt.

Born in Swanton, VT, a son of the late William and Ellamae (Young) Barratt, he lived in Riverside for 50 years.

Mr. Barratt was an engineer for Bird & Son Co., East Providence for 30 years before retiring in 1981.

Clifford was a United States Marine Corps Veteran serving during the Korean War.

He is survived by nine children, Patricia E. Metivier of Swansea, MA, Linda L. Barratt of Warwick, Olive B. Prater of East Providence, Ida B. Narcovich of Riverside, Clifford E. Barratt Jr. of East Providence, William N. Barratt of East Providence, Ricky N. Barratt of Riverside, Terry A. Barratt of Seekonk, MA and Judy H. Stewart of Riverside; three brothers, John Barratt of Port Richey, FL, Davis Barratt of Spring Hill, FL and Emerson Barratt of Harlem, Georgia; twenty five grandchildren and thirty two great grandchildren and his devoted dog Suki.

His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday September 23, 2021 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 7 p.m. Calling hours are Thursday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be held in Vinnicum Woods Cemetery, Vinnicum Road, Swansea, MA.

  10. We didn’t know Cliff Sr. well but if the testimony and love of his children and grandchildren was an indication of what type of man Cliff Sr. was, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
