Cristine F. (DiMarzo) Silvestri, 93, of Meadowbrook Drive, Barrington, passed away peacefully at home on March 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Giovanni J. Silvestri.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Pardo A. and Julia (DeCubellis) DiMarzo. Cristine made her home in Barrington for the past 63 years, where she built a life centered around family, faith, and community.

A devoted homemaker, Cristine took great pride in caring for her family and creating a warm and welcoming home. She was a faithful communicant of St. Luke Church and an active member of the Barrington Hameho Garden Club. Cristine found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially tending to her garden, reading a good book, and baking for family and friends. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and quiet dedication to those she loved will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving children, Mark J. Silvestri of Dover, MA, Erik P. Silvestri of Barrington, Karl D. Silvestri of Barrington, and Kathryn C. Wheeler of New Hartford, NY. She was the cherished grandmother of Jason P. Silvestri of San Francisco, CA, Joel M. Silvestri of Somerville, MA, and Jonathan P. Wheeler of Baldwinsville, NY. She was also the dear sister of the late Francesco DiMarzo and Mary Ciaramello.

Her Funeral Service will be held in the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside, on a date and time to be announced. A private burial will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road, Barrington.
