DeCrescenzo, Daniel, Jr., 79, formerly of Riverside, died unexpectedly on May 10, 2021 at the Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT. He was the former husband of the late Linda M. (Morris) DeCrescenzo.
Born in Fall River, MA, a son of the late Daniel and Carmela (Saracino) DeCrescenzo, he lived in Riverside and Johnston.
Mr. DeCrescenzo was a salesman for Cardi’s Furniture for 20 years before retiring in 2005.
Daniel was a former Riverside Little League coach. A sports enthusiast he was a devoted football and baseball fan. He enjoyed running marathons, traveling and spending time on the beach with his loving family.
He is survived by his children, Robert DeCrescenzo and his wife Kimberly of Franklin, MA, Gregory DeCrescenzo and his wife Shadi of Providence, Deborah L. DeCrescenzo of Warwick, Diane DeCrescenzo of Warren, Daniel DeCrescenzo III of Riverside and Dawn Sparadeo and her husband Christopher of Smithfield; a brother, Anthony DeCrescenzo Sr. and his wife Mildred of Riverside; a sister, Anne Pari of Riverside; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Michael DeCrescenzo.
His funeral will be held on Saturday May 15, 2021 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Dan was one of my favorite members at the gym I train at. ANYTIME FITNESS in Johnston. I used to talk to him every week and he worked out very hard. I’ll miss him and our conversations. I used to always comment how unfair it was that he had so much more hair then me…deepest regards to all his family
